Old but New
OK, I'm old (over 60) - but new to this forum. Just purchased a new "S" and while buying it, my wife decided she had to have a Clubman S. Mini of San Antonio did a good job with us. No dealer here is Austin - until 2009...

I'm a car guy, so perhaps some of my experience can help someone here...

Congrats on your purchases and welcome to the forum!

By the way, lot of people seem to be buying two at a time these days.

Geeze, what a bunch of kind folks!!!

My MCS coupe is Dark Silver, Black roof - no stripes. Black Leatherette, Convenience pkg, S/R, Xenon HL, Auto, dealer added custom MINI 17" wheels (dark gray) matches my paint coincidentally.

My Spouses Clubman is Chile Red, Black roof/trim, black leather and stripes. Premium and Convenience Pkg, Auto, S/R, (but no Xenon HL).

One problem so far. One of my Dark Silver Key FOB's was inoperative. (we call it the USS Enterprise) as it looks like the USS Enterprise from StarTrek. Dealer is obtaining a new one.

We have had them for two weeks now - I feel like I'm 35 again!!!

Your wife has good taste. My Clubman is also CR/B, leather seats,... Best car ever!

We've had ours for two weeks too! I also feel 35 again.

Of course, I'm 36, so it's not that different. But young again and fun, it feels better than before.

I think you must have purchased your Mini the same day I did (at Mini of SA). My temp plates say 4-11 also!!!
