Hi MINI (and Mini) lovers! I just ordered my first MINI today, and can't wait for it to get here! My dealer said he could get it in 6 weeks or less? Is this even possible? Everywhere I've ever seen people are waiting between 8-14 weeks to get theirs delivered. Did I just luck out?

oh, btw, my MINI (yet to be named) is a 2008 MCSa laser blue/black roof/bonnet stripes, premium, convenience.

Thanks! I wasn't sure I'd like driving one because I've only ever driven Toyota 4Runners (I've had 3!!), but I test drove one early February and fell in love! I'm so excited about ordering it, but I know I'm going to HATE waiting!

Ugh! I'm a very impatient person, but I just had to have laser blue with a black roof and black bonnet stripes (and no dealer around the south west had that!) so I was basically forced... I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to my MINI as did with my DELL laptop (said they'd ship it in a week and it ended up taking 3 months...they did give me 2 free printers though..)

 

If it makes you feel any better, ours came on the EXACT day we were told it would... It was approximately 8 weeks total time.

Welcome to the world of Mini Cooper... just took delivery of my first on Friday. Asking my wife if she needs anything at the store and I take the long way going and coming. A BLAST TO DRIVE
