All aboard the MADAME BUTTERFLY
If it did dock today that would be cool but the WWL site still has the MB scheduled to dock sometime on 4/22 (Tuesday). Hopefully when it does dock the VDC will have cleared out the Beemers and our cars can get processed sometime next week.
port Hueneme scheduled MB with 405 MINIs on 04/22

Something must be wrong with the MB. ED750-MBU was a 22 day voyage and it had an additional stop at Halifax, NS. ED811-MBU made it to Manzanillo in two days less time than ED750-MBU. ED811-MBU should have been a 20 day voyage.
I don't know about the lamps, but the stripes are put on by the dealer - at least that's the way they do it at my dealership. I know because I ended up cancelling my stripes 2 days ago, I found a well-recommended shop who can do the stripes much cheaper.

Ohhhhh!!! Do you (or someone else) mind taking a screenshot?
How exciting!!
When a517458 posted the link this morning there was a little green triangle that represented the MB and it was sittin' in the harbor waiting to dock. Let's just hope it's docked and our cars are coming off. According to the incoming vessel calendar posted on the P of H website, there are two shifts working to unload the MB as it is scheduled to depart tomorry 4/23. Now the question is, how far behind is the VDC with getting cars processed. I'm in Nor Cal and have no extras being added so hopefully mine will get processed quickly and sent on its way to me.
Madame Butterfly has docked at port hueneme this morning..... I've been tracking this ship since it left bremerhaven a month ago... it's been delayed by more than a week.... so hopefully we should see our cars pretty soon.... few more days, people
anybody have any news from their MA yet? I emailed mine and was told that I should see the car in about 7-10 days still... I sure hope this is just a matter ofr "underpromising and overdelivering" since my dealership is literally no more than 10 miles away from the VPC at Port Hueneme.... what do you guys think?
I think it all comes down to how many cars were still awaiting processing at the port when the MB docked this morning. The whole reason for the delay was due to too many cars (BMWs) at the Port and no where to put the incoming cars. Hopefully those have been processed and the VDC can begin processing our Minis.
Woohoo!!
Another local MINI owner told me it took him 7 days to get his car after it arrived in port.
The VDC processes something like 600 cars a day so that'd be a LOT Of cars to make it get stopped up for longer than a day or so.
*happy dance*

from my MA
"Your MINI is delayed a little. Shows getting to the Port in California today (4/23/08), so we will have it right at the end of the month."
