how can you tell if you were already dispatched?

 

Did your MA's get in touch with you guys?
I wrote mine an email yesterday but have yet to hear back. Grrrr.

 

He said my car was going to Oxnard to be prepped and he should have it in about a week.

 

I am so freaking excited right now...I hope this is true! I heard back from my MA at East Bay Mini:

"I pulled out the status on your car and it was put on the truck transport yesterday on the 22nd. It will probably land at our dealership by the wk-end."


YAY!!!!

 

Mine was discharged at 4 a.m. in the morning and checked in at the P of H at 7 a.m. I'm gearing up for middle of next week or the weekend since I have no extras added.

 

That's pretty cool. Sounds like yours was one of the first ones off the MB. The VDC must be caught up with cars if the boat just docked yesterday and your's is on the transport truck already. Apparently they worked through the night unloading cars as mine wasn't pulled off until 4 this morning. Sounds like the wait is almost over though. Mine is going to Concord so I shouldn't be too far behind you.

 

You have to go to the WWL site and type in your VIN#. When your Car pops up you will be able to see what time your car was discharged off the MB and logged into the P of H.

Strange, I've called EBM twice now and spoken with Victor (not my MA) and both times he's had computer problems and couldn't give me information.

does that mean it's on a transport out of the VPC or does this mean it's out of the port into the VPC? i'm confused....

 

I believe it just means it's been released to the VDC.

 

we're getting close!!!! I have a few extra days for my jcw aero kit, but hopefully they pop it out of there quickly Hope you all get yours quickly!

 

my lamp will done by VDC, my MA anticipated my MINI to be at dealer after 05/01..

they (the VPC) were busting their butts to have all the cars that were on the MB to the dealers by the end of the month.

 

I just called 1-888-ASK-MINI and she said my car left the VDC yesterday and is on its way to Concord Mini. Since I'm in Nor Cal, Should be there today or tomorrow. I'll be stoppin' by the dealer on my way home to see if it's on the lot. This is way too cool . Sounds like the VDC was bustin' their butts to get the cars processed.

 

sweetness.... I just checked the owner's lounge and it indicates that my car is at the VPC... so I guess since that site is almost always a day or 2 late, then I can assume that it's headed to my dealership already.... man, the agony continues....

 

RussKeys Ask mini doesn't give you any information via person or automated system on what is happening once it has left the factory??? curious where you're getting this

 

I talked to someone today and they said mine is scheduled to leave VDC on the 26th and should be at the dealer within a day or two. It's SO close!

 

I called Ask Mini this morning and spoke to a young lady. I gave her my VIN # and she was able to look it up and tell me that my car had been processed and loaded on a transport yesterday 23rd. She told me the transport was en-route to the dealer and that I should call my dealer for more info. I later called my dealer and they confirmed it was on a transport but the transport had not left yet. Not sure who to believe. In any case, the dealer said that once the transport leaves So Cal that it only takes a day to get to them so it's possible that it could be there as early as tomorrow (Friday 4/25) or as late as Monday 4/28 either which is fine with me. The good thing is that the wait is almost over.

well either way, very cool! I'm jealous I just called ask mini and they said the same thing as they have in the past, we don't know anything once it leaves the factory.... So that's pretty frustrating. Wonder why your person told you??
