I ordered mine from East Bay Mini, in Pleasanton on 3/2. It was completed 3/17, from what Ask Mini told me. It's definitely on this ship.

Hey Mini Freak....Long Beach...MSRP...made the 45min drive. Universal wanted 4 grand over sticker and I hear their service department sucks. I'll use Bob Smith for service....Lived in Los Osos in the early 90's, beautiful area...Where did you go to do your deal?

 

Well I'm actually from Chatsworth.. I got to school in SLO. I ordered mine from bob smith calabasas, I think I got a pretty good deal. My dad lives off of Lauryl Canyon in studio city, spent much of my childhood there, I miss it!

 

Hey amdoulbeu . . . . I got that same treatment from Universal. I went up north because I got similar treatment from three LA area dealerships.

Awesome! On board and underway! After all those shenanigans with the Trianon I am glad to finally know my Mini is on its way to me.

 

I have checked the AIS live site and the AIS Liverpool site and they both show the Madame Butterfly still in port??!!!?? Does anyone know what is going on. It was already delayed one day before Southampton now it looks like another day will be added to the voyage.

As it stands I am looking at an 8 week process for delivery, minimum (maybe 9-10 weeks)! I hope none of you go through a lengthy delivery b/c it will drain you!! I placed my order on 2/26. Now that it's coming on a month, my excitement is starting to waiver. I am half tempted to go to my closest dealer and pick one up off the lot!

I know, I know, I am just whining. But really, I was supposed to be on the Trianon. After another 11 days I am finally loaded on the MB and it just won't leave port! Is karma biting me in the A@@?

Anyone have any good news for me??

 

well I've been through the same dvlnsyde.. I ordered 2/19 ! missed the trianon, but the voyage details still says it departed the 23 and they are pretty on top of having that up to date. I've been following the MB for the last week and it rarely updates it's location, so I'm almost sure that's it has already began its voyage.

I'm also on the Madame Butterfly and glad to see that it's underway. I did notice that the CA arrival has been changed from 4/11 to 4/16 on the WW site. Bummer!

I also bought from Neillo in Sacramento a day after you and it looks like we've had a similar timeline so far based on your signature. I'll be happy with the 8 weeks wait since we're getting our MINIs made to order. They quoted me a May delivery, so anytime in April will be better than that!

 

Yes, I see Madame Butterfly still in port. Strange is that her W&W schedule has not changed. My ship, Independence II, just arrived. Supposed to have left yest. W&W schedule has been updated, though, to coincide.

I feel for you, believe me! I will MAY make 8 weeks if lucky, as it took 4 entire weeks for the build from order date, and it will be 1 day short of 5 weeks before my baby leaves port. All this you already know from earlier posts.

From what I'm seeing on the WW line, looks like things are running 2-3 days behind. Why, I'm not sure ... Meanwhile, Herculese Highway (Kline) has come and gone.

Sigh ... hopefully, this will all be forgotten when our babies get here ...

 

It looks like the MB will be in port until tomorrow. Hopefully it will leave soon. I am not sure what the hold up is. I hope it is not mechanical. The schedule was pushed back another 4-5 days. Was originally arriving in Port Hueneme on 4/11, then 4/13, now 4/16. Has anyone checked weather patterns? Is there some kind of hurricane out there? I have already began looking at other locations to see if a similar car exist on a lot. If I can find one close, I may just take it!

I wasn't expecting it until May anyway, so I shouldn't feel disappointed...but I do!

(Btw, I paid MSRP for mine.)
