Old Farts Motoring Club
Old Farts Motoring Club
I am now a real member of the Old Farts Motoring Club. I joined when I found out that my 2008 LB/W MCSm is on its maiden sea voyage from Southampton to Charleston. I will present her with the official badge, which I have ordered, when I first see her. At the ripe age of 82 I'm overqualified. However in my favor is a love affair of over 55 years of sport cars too many to mention. So the beat goes on. Like my wife says: "As long as that's the kind a of a chassis you go after, I don't mind at all." Smart Lady.
Very nice. Good to see the spark you have for a great driving car.
There are a number of us older folks driving the MINI. I'm an over 60 but I feel 10 to 15 years younger when I drive my MCSa.
Pictures when you get your MINI. Your wife sounds like a charmer, she lets you play.

We'll make you a full fledged member of OGMC if you like. I had a bunch of t-shirts and hoodies made up last fall for a one-off run. We have a thread of idiotic banter in the OGMC thread in New England over at mini2
OGMC Honorary Member
I am so honored to be made a member of a very worthwhile Club. I will be flying the Banner here in sunny Florida. As an aside, I used to live in Fitchburg, Mass. in the 40's and 50's. I feel as if I'm back home. Thanks again. Kal Ramo, aka silverfinn
