My name is Joe. That shouldn't be a surprised based on my screen name. on the new Clubman.

I used to own a mini - an '05 S. I sold it because I got tired of seeing rednecks in their pickup trucks almost hitting me. My wife said enuf is enuf. So I sold it. I'm still mourning that move - almost two years later. But thanks to the new Clubman I'm thinking about getting a Clubman S and possibly, if it comes to America, a Clubman JCW.

I figure if I'm lucky I'll have one by the end of the year.

Living in central Florida I had to dodge a lot of trucks. It wasn't a lot of fun. I got gun shy, but I should have kept my S.

After seeing pics of the Clubman JCW I really want one, but a little afraid of the sticker.

Welcome Joe, I'm a good ole boy from Nashville, TN. We don't like rednecks down here either.

 

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I re-read my original post and I apologize for sounding a little harsh about the people who almost wrecked into me. The events that week were pretty weird - three different vehicles in less than a week almost rear-ended me. Thanks to the Clubman I will be getting back into the fold soon.
