Nothing new as of around 7:30 AM PDT. The Port Hueneme schedule had the Toronto scheduled to arrive on the 23rd and depart on the 24th, with another ship slotted into that dock on the 25th. The Wilhelmsen logistics site hasn't been updated (yet), but it also took a little over 24 hours to get updated after Toronto passed through the Canal. (The Mini Owner's Lounge is worse, with a lag of 48-72 hours or more.)

The good news is that I have my VIN memorized, from typing it into the Wilhelmsen logistics site to track things!

I'll post an update when I spot something that's changed. 266 minis, 1513 bmws, 3 rolls royce, 70 saturns, 862 volvos... That's a few cars to roll off the boat! (That information taken from the posted Port Hueneme schedule, available at http://www.portofhueneme.org/home.php .)

The good news -- as of 16:30 PDT, the WWL website is showing the Toronto as docked at Port Hueneme!

I'd expect the next status change to be on the Owner's Lounge, changing to "At Distribution Center" in a day or so.

My MA just called me this afternoon to say that my car has finished with production, is on it way, and should be about 2 weeks before it gets here. I think they're a bit behind!! Maybe they know something I don't??

 

Well we have been unloaded off of the TORONTO now!! On to the VDC to get cleaned up and sent off. Too bad they don't have a webcam at the VDC!!

Mine has been updated to "at distribution center" as well w/ an estimated delivery date of 4-1-08 (April Fool's LOL).

 

I called MINI this morning and mine has been released to the trucking company. They were not sure if it is on it's way or waiting for a truck. My MA called me today and confirmed what MINI said this morning. I live in WA St and that's my update

 

Dropped by the Mini dealership to get some more measurements, and inquired about my car.

It arrived yesterday! They still have to check it over and install some things, (and my dance card is already quite full for Tuesday), so I pick it up Wednesday afternoon!

There's a picture in my gallery -- and the Owner's Lounge still shows it at the Distribution Center.

My MA just called me yesterday to say that it has arrived at the dealership. I will probably pick it up on Friday. Good luck shipmates and post pics!!

 

6 hours till delivery for me this whole mini thing started 1st nov. Our son and I went to the auto show in Seattle except when we got down there it didn't start till the next weekend(me bad)At the time I hadn't even considered a mini so anyway we travelled down the road and I test drove a Honda civic can you say oatmeal yuk Next door was the MIni dealer ever since that drive that's all I've thought about.I think I've read every post on nam.BTW I sold cars for 8 years and the mini is the coolest car I've ever driven and for me(us) a reality in a short while

 

Mini On...either Good Things have happened and you are REALLY enjoying you NEW MINI or Bad Things have happened...which ever it is...We want to see PICs.!!

Well I picked up "Dash" last night!! When I was driving him home last night there was another MINI following me for a while on the highway. My girlfriend got all excited. I found it really funny, she's got the MINI fever after less than an hour!!
Anyway, what a great little car!!! And it smells so good!! I will also try a get some pics up later today.

 

Mini On B-daay the 19th the Day we ordered Molly...I've begun the Count Down. Molly arrives @ Port Hueneme on Monday!! I'm thinking that by the 11th she should be at Rasmussen. Going for a visit of course (camera in hand)!!! And hopefully taking Delivery on Friday, the 18th!!! 13 more Days!!!
