You actually can't track your car if it was shipped by K-Line. Once you have deduced (or been told by your MA) which K-Line ship you're on, you can check the Port Authority Schedule for the port of destination (usually Charleston for East coast and Port Heume for West Coast) to see when your ship is scheduled to arrive, unload, and depart again. Here is the link for Charleston: http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp.

Great info, MINIRee! I suspect mine might be on K-Line, since it's still listed as "Awaiting Transport" and I can't find the VIN on WW's site, even though it finished production on 2/21! If so, I think that would put it on the EMDEN, leaving on 3/4 and arriving in Charleston on 3/15-16.

Hopefully my MA will return my call someday soon (she's been unavailable for at least the past week!) and have more information...

It generally takes about a week for your MINI to load onto a ship once it has reached the docks in Southampton. I'll bet yours is already on the way.

I'm lucky. I have a really good MA who returns emails and calls within an hour or two.

My MA barely speaks English, but he's a riot, so I've got to stick with him.

Just got off the phone with my MA (finally!). She didn't show any boat information on mine, either (completed production on 2/21!). She said to call her back on Friday for an ETA.

I bet your car will join mine on its trip across the pond... Our dates are very similar. This is what I've figured out so far... My car is currently scheduled on the ship COURAGE previously it was on the PATRIOT... the MINI was ordered on 2/11 Built 2/19... much to my surprise it was scheduled to load on the PATRIOT on that day... it missed the boat.

A check here http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp tells me that COURAGE left Port Charleston on 2/22. A check here http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L... 080330&menu=% shows me that a new Voyage initiates from BREMERHAVEN on 3/6 for COURAGE here http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L...080326&menu=VC shows her in SOUTHAMPTON on 3/10 where I hope to see my Status change to "In Transit." An additional check here http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L... 080330&menu=% tells me that my car should be in CHARLESTON on 3/22.

If this works out it appears that from order to landing on the shores of the USA... it was 6 weeks. I'm assuming two additional weeks to actually get the car delivered to me here in Ohio... That would get the car here in the first full week of April.

Obviously the biggest delay getting my/our MINI(s) is waiting on a ship from 2/19 till 3/10, nearly three weeks on the dock. I've read during all this that WWL is building newer bigger ships, 8000 car capacity, while a couple of those are already in the system the COURAGE only hold 5,900 cars, seems like a lot doesn't it? Perhaps thie WWL's effort will speed up future customer's deliveries.

All in all it's still amazing to me that one can have a car custom build in another country and delivered, as ordered, practually to your front door six or eight weeks later... we live in wonderful times!!

Yup Wednesday was a creation I will say i just have this thing...my next car was going to be all black...Skulli (my 05 MSC) is all silver

I ordered my Clubman on 2/18. On the Mini Owner's Lounge site it moved into "scheduled for production" on 2/26. Yesterday morning (3/4) it showed as "awaiting transport".
So is it a week 8 or week 9 car? Or maybe week 10?

The shipper's Web site shows it listed on the Otello sailing tomorrow. I hope it doesn't get bumped and sets sail on time.

You're a week 9. I'm a week 8, but I with the shipping delay, I ended up being a week 9. By the end of the day tomorrow, or Friday, we should know if we made it on to Otello.

I hope it makes it. I passed my wonderful '03 Cooper on to my daughter a few months ago so I've been Miniless for too long.

Hey litlr-n-u, my mini arrived at the port yesterday and is now waiting with yours. Here's schedules for possible Charleston SC voyages:

Some Charleston SC port possibilities, assuming that K-Line is a possibility:

WW:
SOUTHAMPTON 10/03/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 22/03/2008 ** COURAGE EB810-COG 12
SOUTHAMPTON 15/03/2008 CHARLESTON,SC 29/03/2008 INTEGRITY EB811-ITG 14

** I've asked around and still have not found the reason for WW Charleston schedules' mysterious "not accepting commercial bookings" so can any of our minis go on this voyage? Time will tell.

K-Line:
SOUTHAMPTON 04-MAR/05-MAR EMDEN - CHARLESTON 16-MAR/16-MAR
SOUTHAMPTON 06-MAR/07-MAR CARIBBEAN HIGHWAY - CHARLESTON 20-MAR/20-MAR
SOUTHAMPTON 16-MAR/16-MAR INGOLSTADT - CHARLESTON 27-MAR/27-MAR

Edit: Wow SizeDoesMatter, you're actually scheduled on COURAGE for Charleston 3/22? Guess that answers that question! Yay, our minis can go on more of the WW Charleston voyages than I thought!

Still waiting on 3/10

Nothing has changed on my status and I don't expect it to till 3/10 when I think my new, petite, beautiful, English, girlfriend will board the Courage for her ride across the pond... she's been sitting by those cold English waves since 2/19, waiting to make her way to her new home after 20 cold nights by the docks... while she was patiently waiting I have been trying to cook up a nice homecoming gift.... a John Coopers' Work Tuning Kit... because God knows there's only one thing I love move than beautiful girlfriends and that's fast, beautiful girlfriends!!

Maybe because of this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106847 or this [same thing, better story]: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/14/o...d-in-shipping/ may have thrown the shipping schedules off a bit??
