Hello everyone.....

According to all three sources (dealer, Ask Mini, Owner's Lounge) my Mini has been at the dock for one full week now. I have also checked the WW site and my car does not show there either.

I read threads of many Mini's getting on the boat within a few hours of making it to the docks. I also read about at least one Mini getting on the boat while while the sources suggested that the Mini was still awaiting transport.

As a note, I think my Mini would be going to Charleston, SC as I am in NC.

Please let me know what you think........ is this really normal? I don't want to see the process stall like this.... it is DRIVING me crazy !! :impatient

 

Mine took a week to catch a boat - not unusual. The waiting for a ship, watching your ship crawl across the ocean, and waiting for you MINI to catch a ride from the VDC will drive you nuts! Good luck!

This is Scott, your MA, its on the K-line shipping so its not going to show on the WW site. The boat is called CARIBBEAN HIGHWAY and the call sign is H9ZW. So you can track it using the sailwx.info site. As of right now that have not been any sightings due to it leaving a day or so ago.

Hope it gets a sighting soon, but right now its still looking to port around the 25th.

Does anyone know if K-line has a tracking search like WW. I was looking for it, but can only find container cargo tracking.

Very happy to see my Mini making it across the Atlantic. I put together my own timeline estimate and it looks like it MIGHT arrive during my birthday week.... that would be so very cool.

The time line you sent me might be a little off. First off, barring nothing slowing it down at the VPC, the might have it on a truck heading here by the end of the month. The get paid to get stuff out by the end of the month to meet quota's like dealerships. So I would not be surprised if they had it on a truck or even arriving here the last day of the month.

Mine was stuck at dock for a week before catching a boat, too. Hang in there!

 

Mine was at the dock for 9 days and missed 1 boat after the 4th day before my departure from Southampton.

 

Scott, Are you Flow or Hendrick? I ask because I am in SC (Hendrick purchase) and ASK-MINI reports "on a boat" but WW shows nothing for my VIN. I was wondering if the information you provided here might apply to me, too. Could I be on the K-line, too? Please feel free to PM me if this is too off-topic. Thanks!

 

I'm actually at Flow MINI in Winston-Salem

It probably is on the K-line, i would love to check, but due to you being a hendrick customer, i can't see any info other than service history unless the vehicle was purchased through our dealership.
