New '07 MCS JCW LB comes home!
Hi Folks, Here are a couple of photos of my new '07 MINI Cooper S with JCW setup. I picked her up last Saturday 12/15 from MINI of Fairfield County ... ordered her back in mid-October. We luckily pulled a window of dry road conditions for the day.
All I can say is ... YEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
Drove her home from Stamford to NW Connecticut with the wife following in the 4Runner... we got home and took her out along the Farmington River up in Western Mass. for the twistie test ... yep, she's everything that I hoped for and MORE!!!
With all of the snow tho, she's been sitting in the garage for a week
This may be worse than the wait for her arrival! And being a skier makes me all the more conflicted.
My MA - Mark Smith - is a hero in my book. I've bought quite a few new cars over the past 25 years... he is the first car salesman that made the experience perfect and painless. I can't recommend him enough.
Let's motor!! I can't wait for the road trips with other MINIs up here!

Nice Spec! I bet you can't wait until after the 1200 to put her into warp drive!

Thanks everyone. I can't wait for 1200 miles, but she is just incredible and a real dream to drive. After the trip home from the dealer, she sat for a week before the roads cleared. We took her out yesterday and today and it's just bliss. Acceleration, handling, no torque steer below 4500 rpm on takeoff 
, just .. yee haa!!! It's everything I hoped for and more. Obviously, I'm still in the 'walk out to the garage and flick the light on' stage!
