New MINI (Again)

Hello to all. I have just purchased a 2007 Dark Silver MCS. This is the 2nd Mini that I have owned. I previously had a 2004 MCS (Dark Silver as well). I hope and expect that this car will be as enjoyable as the previous one!

What are the biggest differences you feel in the new car?

I think the single biggest difference, for me at least, is feel of the upgraded interior materials. While the quality certainly wasn't lacking before, the material used for the stalks, center console and seats feels more substantial. As for the engine and ride, I am still in the break-in period, so ultimate handling and engine testing will wait!

I believe that the consensus, and the information in the manual, is that you should refrain from driving over 90 and above 4,500 rpm until about 1,200 miles.
