New member observations...

Just today I became a member of NAM.COM and plan on ordering my new Cooper S after the holidays. I have wanted a MINI since they were introduced in the US a few years ago and will finally "pull the trigger", so to speak.

On Friday I went to the Internation Auto Show in Boston and must have sat in about 25 differnt new cars, including the MINI. Of all the cars I "test sat" the one that fit me best was a red Cooper S. Mind you, I am a large male who is almost 6'4" tall and ease of ingress and egress was by far the best in the smallest, (in length) car is geot in and out of.

With this observation in mind I would love to hear any comments from other tall members.

Sincereley,

massff

I'm not particularly tall, but at 6'1" I don't put the seat all the way back. I can't get the clutch all the way down if I'm all the way back. I think the MINI is very good for tall folks (but not the people that sit behind them). It's far more comfortable and roomy for the driver than my Honda CR-V.

I'm six foot five, athletically built, blond and fit into a MINI. I never believed all those stories I heard about asian women. That is, not unitl the night I ordered chinese take out and was greeted at the door by the sexiest delivery girl I have ever seen...

Per your question 'sentry, here's a whole thread with comments from MINI drivers of various heights, for your reading enjoyment:

Even tall drivers love their MINIs.
