Without me going out to the car, I'd going to say ~300 already! The trip from Memphis is the source of most of them.

Did any of you that already took ownership of your cars order the blue tooth with USB connection?? If so- was the USB connection there?? My MA wasn't certain if the early 2008 cars were going to have it. Thanks!

Yes and yes. Sliding door in front of the USB port which is next to the auxiliary port on mine. MP3s off of a USB stick play flawlessly. The car even resumes playback from where you left off. It is awesome. More detailed review to come.

My 2008 MCS does NOT have the USB...but I didn't order the bluetooth package, so maybe that's why.

I do have the auto-up windows, even though my MA said that I didn't (very happy about that).

Do you happen to have the bluetooth option or convenience package? I believe the USB only comes on cars with Bluetooth.

No, I did not order the bluetooth option or convenience package.

I can definitely tell the difference between the hi-fi system in my car and the standard sound system in our 07 MC. The largest contrast is the depth and bass of the sound.

Dang, Plasmo, we ordered on the same day and mine is still 7 days away from landing on dry soil. I won't see mine until the end of January.

Your mini looks sah-weet! I dig the colors! Congrats.

Sorry to hear that. I do know that when I placed my order, my MA modified one of their previously made orders to fit my specifications. That act probably put me ahead in the production process.

Plasmo, nice to see you went with the same color on top and bottom on both your rides. Hope you've joined the "Official Matching Roof and Body Color Club" here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=121908

Are you planning on putting on stripes? I'm contemplating getting the chrome scoop and mirrors.

I ordered the black "Spaced Pin Bonnet Stripes" from Aesthetic Creations yesterday. Here's the link: http://www.aestheticreations.net/gal...peramviv07.jpg

Be sure to post pictures if you go ahead with the scoop and mirrors!

Those are pretty sweet, one of the better aftermarket stripe sets that I've seen. Are you gonna apply them yourself? Does it extend to the rear as well?

Larrydata, if you're putting snowtires on, what are you doing about the TPMS? '08s have the new sensors, don't they?

I ordered snow tires from Tirerack. They came with the sensors installed. The sensors were $32 each and the stems were $8. each. I swapped them out, reset the TPMS and everything's been great so far.

This morning Owner's Lounge says At The Dealer! Haven't heard from my MA yet. Will have to wait til next friday to make the 200+ mile trip anyway because of my work schedule. Keeping fingers crossed on the weather. Can get really nasty around here.

That's about how far we are for our nearest dealers, Ace. Have you thot about doing your own oil changes or will you make the trek every 5,000 ish miles?

I've already changed the oil in our MC, right after break in at 1200 mi. Easiest oil change I've ever done on any car I've owned! Bought the filter from the Mini service dept. the day we took delivery. Think I'll do the same this time around.
Don't rack up alot of miles normally, which could change with this car , so the next oil change will most likely be annual service at dealer. Just 3300 mi. so far on our Cooper since July '07.
