Obsessed?
Ok so I am very anxiously awaiting delivery of my new mini. I checked the website today and it said that it was "at the mini dealer." I called the dealer and they said that they don't have it although it was scheduled for delivery today.
Darh! It's so frustrating.
Is it possible it can take or day or two on the truck?
I don't think it can take that long because I am in Los Angeles and the VDC in Oxnard is only about 25 miles outside the city. How long can this whole process take?
Sheesh.
Any words of comfort or advice?

Well, the online tracking feature of the MINI website is just about worthless once the car leaves the factory.
Your dealer is the best source of information once your car is Stateside, since they get daily updates on all of the cars at the VDC that they've ordered. It can take a day or so on the truck, so I'm sure your car will be at the dealer soon. Does your dealer take delivery of new vehicles on Saturdays? That's when mine showed up.

Yup... seems to be getting worse ever since the boat docked today. I've probably already checked this message board a dozen times today. I don't expect things to get better until I pick the car up
The amount of time it spent in transit on the boat was a bit easier to handle because I knew there would be a 2.5 week blackout period where there was basically no chance that there would be any changes in its status. So I maybe checked the OL once during that whole time.

All i can say is wait till you get your MINI
. I got mine yesterday afternoon and i cannot keep myself from going out every few minutes and looking at it. Last night i went out like 6 times - just to unlock the car, see it all light up and get in. Rinse and repeat. I would have taken him out for a drive but i was tired. Well i am outta here - my MINI is calling
*must need more of the new car smell....need more of that handling...* withdrawal symptoms
