Hi all, first post here. Getting it out of the way and see how goofy my first one looks. I was too impatient to order mine and picked a new Dark Silver MCS from a dealer about 200 miles away. Picked it up about three months ago. Wife made me promise to not have a mid-life crisis if we got it. I promise! This is a great site, too much to read!

 

My MCS is my mid-life crisis! I bought from dealer stock myself. (my 2nd time of doing so) I can understand the enthusiasm for getting a car built exactly as you want it, but now days the dealerships often have a good selection on hand. My only sacrifice was to wind up with more options than I would have ordered!

 

Welcome to NAM, a DS MCS is a very good selection. It is good you found one at a dealer.

Your next one you can custom order and get the 'full' MINI experience.

How about some pictures of your new MINI?

My MCSa was not a mid-life, more of a later in life need.

Thanks for the warm welcome. This site is so big and has so many threads I may not be posting this picture in the right place. But here goes...(I hope this attachment thingy is how I do this)...

Took this after I cleaned it up from the maiden voyage home. It started to rain before I could get a picture of the clean version, hence the garage. I have been driving it too much to pull over and take any more pictures of it. I'll be storing it over the winter (salt = bad) so probably not many more photo opportunities.
