I just checked the WW site again (for that added comfort and out of habit) and noticed that the schedules for Halifax and the Panama Canal have been bumped up one day! Edbear67's call to WW must have touched "the rather stern" representative enough to tell the captain to push the Fidelio with everything she's got. While the Fidelio is still scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme on 11/26, perhaps if we all concentrate real hard, it will arrive a day early!

For the winter season WW has added a few extra days for the west coast ships. So arrival at Port Hueneme has been a day or so early for a few ships lately.

I might have an in around the port, I'm checking. Perhaps I could take some pictures while they off load. I'd post them of course.

Mine has a white roof, moonroof and bonnet stripes

Talked to my MA today at Southbay MINI.He says since our MINIs are coming at the end of the month there is higher priority to get them to the dealerships so they can make their month end quota. Please let this be true.

Well, I just checked our friendly WW site and see that the Fidelio has passed through Halifax and is on its way to the Panama Canal! Applause is not necessary, but welcome.

Well, it looks like I jumped the gun with over enthusiastic optimism. I checked again this morning and WW updated their status of the Fidelio, which showed it hadn't arrived in Halifax yet. I checked AIS, and it shows the Fidelio as docked right now in Halifax. I have a webcam picture of it, but I couldn't figure out a way to copy the picture. But, somehow I managed just before it left!

Nice work Wolfsheim! If you're at Crevier when I pick-up my MINI, I'll buy you a drink at Deitricks (Or whatever German-sounding name their coffee bar is!)

PS- One of the perks of Crevier is free coffee at Deitricks! (Yeah, I'm sure I actually paid for it!, Oh well.)

Unfortunately, I'll pick up my MINI in Oregon and will miss out on a free coffee at Crevier...oh well. Thanks anyway!

Have I told anyone (lately) that the wait is killing me!

Got a call from my MA yesterday and he also quoted the "MINIs are coming at the end of the month there is higher priority to get them to the dealerships so they can make their month end quota" line. Hope it's true!

Phone call from MA?

I guess when MY phone wasn't ringing, that was my Motoring Advisor NOT calling me!

What options, if any, are installed at the VDC? I hate to think that something I ordered would delay my first day of motoring!

Yes! I am !! They told you Dec 2nd or 3rd?? I wonder if mine will be there then, too. I'm having driving lamps added, so I don't know if that will add some time to my delivery date. Anyway, it will be here soon - just two or three weeks from now. Wow!!

Outstanding! The MA told me to expect it sometime around December 15--hopefully, that is very conservative speculation!

Hey swabel, what specs did you order?

Sorry for the delayed reply, I just got home from a trip to Salt Lake. Jeff is my MA. But I got home to hear a message from MINI of Mtn View on my answering machine stating that my new MINI will be coming into port soon! The guy (Mike) had a question regarding the driving lamps I ordered. I just got done speaking with him and he estimates it will be ready for deliver around the 3rd of December, with the driving lamps! Woo HOO!!!

I checked yesterday afternoon and saw its arrival through AIS. It spent the night on the Atlantic side and is now making it's way through the first lock. Here is a pictures.
