Noobie here from Germany!

Hi everyone,

I'n thinking about a Mini Cooper S, I've got an M3 right now but want a boat so I need something not so expensive since I can't have both.

I live in Stuttgart, Germany and I teach on one of our Army bases. It's a sweet gig, get to see the world without the boot camp I say! I've been in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years before here and love it! I'm a reading teacher.

Anyways, from what I've read so far this is a great place for info.

So thanks in advance!

Tigger

Welcome to the party.

You're not going to try and pull a boat with a Mini, are you?

You'd defenitely need a 19% pulley....

Welcome !!

I spent 7 years in Germany and 4 years in Japan myself. Very nice places to pitch your tent for a few years !!

I also almost went the route of teaching in DoDDS system when I retired from the Air Force. That is a sweet gig.

Welcome to NAM and go get that MINI... you won't regret it.

Virtual German Motoring contingent checking in.

Definitely seek out abuzavi (who's not in Germany right not, but will be back soon, God and Army willing) and daflake... they are some of the chief non-virtual German MINI troublemakers... and both know how to have *some fun* with a MINI in Deutschland. And they can answer many of your questions. I live vicariously through them whenever they do a Black Forest run... and I sit here stateside eating Black Forest cake and drinking some kind of Oktoberfest...

Welcome to NAM. I can't imagine that HP in the front wheel drive MINI.

Funny, I was just thinking (about a month ago) of giving up my MINI for a M3
