When our accessories arrive, I added the 1" riser for the handle bars, should help I think.

I got a call this morning about 08:30 from our MA saying that our car had arrived. We actually got to the dealership at 16:45 and left at 19:00 with our car! I can't stop smiling just thinking about the drive home. It's funny... I'm not looking for the shortest route to get from one place to another. I've only seen it in the dark, so I'm looking forward to seeing/driving it during the daylight tomorrow. I'll try to post some pictures after tomorrow.

Few of the options were on the car (speed stripes, wheel locks,
driving lamps). Only the iPod adapter was installed (not tested yet). They needed to modify the grill (temporarily) for the driving lamps. Interesting. I'll have to bring the car back on next Tuesday for them to complete the work.

Here's an image of our new BRG MCS:

Note that it's still missing the sport stripes. Those should go on this coming Tuesday.

Very nice! Congrats!!! I applaud your patience in waiting the extra weeks for it. If my previous vehicle wasn't white I maight have gotten PW.

Also, for some reason I thought you ordered an S. Welcome to the Non S club.

I liked the "S" but I have other toys to go "VROOM<VROOM" with and the "S" just would have gotten me a ticket + more cost + more Ins... This all started as a low priced car = you know how that goes... The Cooper is really enough for me.... Now to learn all the settings.... Later....

I agree, the non S is very quick and peppy. The S would be even more tempting to go too fast. Have fun learning. I'm reading the manual for the third or fourth time and still learning.

My beautiful car was on this ship left the VDC on 11/12 and has not yet arrived at my dealership in Los Angeles which is only like 20 miles away. It makes me so sad. My dealer has no idea when it's going to arrive. I am so frustrated.

Mine was on the same ship, My dealership is Assael MINI in Morovia, also LA County and I pick it up November 10, 2007

Something fishy, call them and let them know about others, that have received their cars one week ago.

Get on the dealer

I live in Portland, and my new MINI arrived at the dealer last week. With all the final touches, dealer installs, etc., I'm getting in tomorrow. So if I were you, I'd be a little pissed (especially after watching the boat come from Southampton)
