Make my mind up time...

Greetings from a newbie in Northern California.

I am almost ready to place an order for an MCS, but I can't quite make up my mind how bold to be. I really like the look of Mellow Yellow + Black roof, and I am thinking of going the whole hog with the colour line interior.

I also like the Carbon Lounge leather, but I am surpsied that they don't offer the piping in MY. That would seem like a natural thing to want (very Lambo-like), so I'm wondering if anyone has had this done after market.

Pictures please

My dealer talked me out doing the blue color line in my car. He suggested it would distract from the Carbon Punch leather, and add too many colors to the interior. I am happy I listened.

I have a MY w/ black interior. I have the black lounge leather seats w/ white piping...not sure if this is what you mean.

My story was I stepped into the dealership to order a car but one on the lot was really screaming. If you want a 'screamer' then get the MY / MY interior and Piano black. See my gallery, a few pic's here...

Wow...even the airbag warning labels fit the color scheme! Awesome!

You mean those labels my wife kept picking at trying to remove before she realized they were silk screened?

The important thing is to just get whatever it is that speaks to you. If getting a bright fun car with sharp contrasts and a color line is what feels right, do it. Get the thing that it's your first impulse to want and you will likely be happy with it for a long time.

You have a wonderful opportunity to CUSTOM order your car. Go with the feeling that the combination gives you and enjoy it. When I ordered mine, there was no question, it HAD to be Yellow!. I debated the black or white roof but I like how the black contrasts. I also love the color line. Just get the options you want the most and enjoy!

Getting Closer...

Many thanks for the welcome and words of encouragement...

I absolutley agree that this is a great opportunity to order an almost custom car - something usually only available in much higher price brackets.

My interior specification is narrowing in on MY Colour Line + Lounge Carbon Black Leather + Piano Black Surfaces + Anthracite Headliner + Chrome Line.

I guess I'll wait and see if I think the white seat piping clashes with the yellow trim.

I really like the MY/B with the MY/Piano Black combo on the inside. If I could have a second car, I would definitely go with this configuration. The PS is more me for an every day driver, but MY would probably be my first choice if I was working on an addition to the family. Maybe someday...
