newbie ordering...seeking input!?

Hi Everyone: I think I'm ready to order!...? I have built many on the configuarator. Is there anything I am really missing that should be there?
This will be my toy and not interested in track time. (Although I follow motor racing at all levels).
'07 MCS with Automatic, Mellow Yellow/Black roof, Black Bonnet stripes, Cold weather package, Audio Pkg, 16" S-winders, rear fogs, Chrome Line Interior, Anthracite Headliner, Leather Lounge Black, Piano Black interior, Driving Lamps. ...thats it....$28,110.00 Oh yes, Mellow yellow color line.
What do you think? I am going to order next week, is 5 weeks delivery possible to Florida? What about Chrome line exterior, chrome exhaust?
I know I have a lot of questions but any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds great. I think chrome over Mellow Yellow is overdoing it, though.

Sounds like a solid combination to me. The only thing I'd recommend is to look into aftermarket wheels as the MCS just begs for 17" or larger; and this way you could get rid of those hard riding run-flats if you want! Also have u looked at the Punched Carbon Leather? I have and love Carbon Lounge but I just feel that in a yellow and black car especially with the yellow color line, all black leather (opposed to the black with white/cream piping) may fit better. Could be wrong though - I'd actually be interested to see pictures of lounge leather in a Mellow Yellow MINI if anyone has them.
But +1 on the chrome line exterior - on some colors it compliments quite well but IMHO with Mellow Yellow it'd be a bit much. Finally, the MCS comes stock with chrome exhaust so unless you want the ever so slightly larger tips, it'd be a waste.

As for delivery time that depends on the dealer you place your with. Dealers have production "slots" and some can have a shorter wait time than others. So you dealer would be the best one to ask about an estimated delivery date.

But on "average" once a Mini starts production, that can take 3 to 5 days, then it needs to be transported by train to the South Hampton port. Wait times for a ship can vary from a few days to a week, and at times even longer.
Once loaded on to a ship the transit time for you area is usually 11 - 15 days. All these times are just the "average" and anything can go wrong and delays do happen.

Good feedback, thanks very much. I saw a picture of the lounge leather in a mellow yellow and it looked sharp, and I agree that the extra bling on the outside may be a bit of overkill. Some of the moded MY's have blacked out their chrome, and this looks sharp too. (It wouldn't work on all colors). Also, in the back of my mind I was thinking after market rims and tires. Does larger rims and tires have an effect on the speedo? Thanks again.

I like the 16s and there are more choices in that size when it's time to replace them. Of course, I am one of the few that likes the runflats (I do a lot of solo cross-country road trips). I think your specs look great! Welcome to NAM!

The driving lamps require dealer installation, which may increase the price. I am not sure if they are worth it.
