I'm excited. No production number yet (should get it by Wed), but I was told to expect delivery first week in November. Not sure what production week that will be.

Interesting note, it appears that getting the wood steering wheel and shifter are no longer an option. I tried to order it but my ma told me that because of all the mix-ups that they were getting, mini decided to stop offering it. No biggie for me, I like the way the leather wheel feels.

Now all I have to do is sell my car. Anyone know someone that wants to buy an 06 Dodge charger Daytona?

You spelled it wrong there too. Hehe. Thread title fixed. Congratulations! Were you there today at lunchtime? Ironically enough, I was probably there at the same time, stopping in to check on a couple of things.

 

Well, as jw34 said, there really isn't anything that I didn't get. The only things were a color line (Didn't really like any of the available ones with BRG), the car alarm (I find them really annoying), and leather. The lounge leather was nice, but not nice enough to spend close to another 2k for it. I opted for all the gadgets instead of leather. Plus, I thought the leatherette looked really good with the two-tone color. I learned from experience that if you want something, even a little bit, you should get it. Especially when ordering a car. Otherwise you will regret it because you might not be able to add it later.

My MA told me to expect delivery first week in November, and I know how to track it once I get a production number.

It will be 07. I heard from the MA that if you order convertibles now, they will be 08's, but hardtops will be 07 until Feb.

MSRP was 32900. I got them to throw in some accessories though, nothing major.

Wow, that is one nicely loaded MCS. About the only thing I might have considered adding to that would be the LSD.

I did the interior comparison hop today, and I agree the Leatherette is pretty nice. It's definitely a lot nicer looking than the picture in the miniusa.com configurator makes it look.

Oops, missed the auto tranny. It must be some kind of mental block.

 

Got my production number today and signed up in the owners lounge. No vin yet. How do I figure out what production week I'm in? I need the vin first right?

 

Was just told by my MA that I'm in production week 39. Estimating late October delivery. She said there was a chance that it may be a week earlier. We shall know this weekend.

I told my wife that it must be fate because if I'm in week 39 Nigel will start being built on our first wedding anniversary.

Now I really ned to get a move on selling my car.
