Welcome to NAM!! I had been waiting since the first MINI was made, I just didn't know it. I'm 73 and have had some really nice rides over the years, but my MINI has got to be the most fun car of the bunch!! You'r going to love it!!!
Congratulations, 3 years can be a long time to wait for something you really want; but worth it. I just picked up my MCSa and I like it today more that the day I picked her up!
keep us posted, and try not to loose any sleep

Congratulations! Warning. . .the next 6 weeks or so are going to seem MUCH longer than the last three years!!!!!

Excellent, 3 years but only 6 to 8 weeks more of waiting. Nice set of specs.
Pictures in late September or early Oct. perhaps. Those are some of the best months to drive in NM.
Welcome to NAM and MINIdom.

Thanks for all encouragement, guys. It seems like there are quite a few folks that had to wait a while before finally getting their MINI.
I almost went for an 06 last year, but decided to wait to see what the 07 was like. I still like the 06 - it seems to be truer to the original Mini spirit - but after driving the 07 MCS, I was sold on the new engine. Even my wife got a kick out the torque when we test drove it. We're Harley riders (she rides her own Sportster), and we always enjoy the rush you get when taking off fast at an intersection; and leaning into the twisties is just the best.
We've got some mountains pretty close to home here, but the local MINI dealer isn't close enough to do a test drive on any fun roads. I'm sure driving a MINI on a curvy road gives the same thrill as a Harley. (Any other Harley riders out there?) I'm hoping to take our next few vacations in Colorado. I know we're missing MITM this year, but I'm hoping to make it next year. Maybe even MOTD.

I can't believe I missed this thread! Congrats buddy.
You are gonna love your MINI every bit as much as I love mine, I'm sure! Try not to get too jealous when you see mine at work everyday. Yours will be here soon enough!
I saw you're getting tinting. I'll definitely be getting tinting, too.
Curse you, NM Sun! Trying to fade our paint and bake our seats til we can't sit down or touch the steering wheel! Out, I say, out!
