Choices, Choices.

I need your help. I am going to buy a Mini. Well If I can get a sales person to help me. I went into a Dealership today and was told I could not be helped and got the run around asked if I had an appointment. And when trying to do a trade evaluation, told Used Car Mgr was not in so I would have to come back. I am not naming Names or Dealerships. I left pissed so only got to test drive the Cooper, and not the S, I was deciding which one to go for. I was hoping for a great expierence and a decent time buying my next new car.

So I may go back and ask for a different sales person or may have to drive and hour and a half to a different Dealership in RI, But I dont want it to come to that.

Anyhow.

Cooper S, Spkling Silver, Premium Pkg, Xenon Lights. Is the Sparkling silver a good color choice Im torn between that and the British Racing Green.

Are the Xenon Lights worth it, I mean much brighter than the regular lights? And when you use the high beams do they are the xenon still right there "bi-xenon correct? I drive alot at night and allways wanted them. Also O know they "auto level" if weight were to be in the back. But do they auto-turn when you go around corners? I heard someone post that on here in a different forum.

I have yet to test drive the S, Only the Cooper. Will I want the S once I test Drive It?

Kevin,

Don't know what to say regarding your dealer experince, I would give it one more time and ask for a different sales person. If it turns out the same, I would think the whole place is not worth my time and I would try the other dealer over in RI.

If you like seat of the pants fast, the S is going to give that to you. The MC is pretty spirted and gives a little better gas mileage. Both are MINIs, so both have their merits.

I have a DS/w MCSa, I love the little car, I looked at the SS/SS and today I saw a BRG/B with checkered accents, roof and mirrors, verrrry nice, it all depends on which one WOWs you.

I have Xenons, I think they are worth getting, very bright and I like them at night, they auto-level, they don't moving left to right, I think that is one of those other 'ferin' cars.

Hope you get it sorted out and get your MINI ordered soon.
