Grille Badge questions

Can anyone fill me in on these grille badges? My new Mini 07 is already ready for some new toys, but I'm confused.:impatient Some info says there is a badge holder part and some speak of magnetic badges. So before I spend $$ on the wrong thing, does my 07 need a "holder" or can I buy magnetics?

Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to NAM !!!

You need to buy the holder. Then buy the badges you like. The magnetic badges stick to the holder.

Here's where to get it......

And...mount the badge holder on the driver's side of the grille. Badges should be mounted so they are most visible to oncoming traffic. Thus, in the UK, they are mounted on the opposide side from a US (LH drive) MINI.

Thanks for the info & link - I'll take a look, although it says for an '07, you have to drill throgh the grill. Not sure I want to do that to my new car. :-)

Just hold out a little longer. I've heard that MINI is coming out with a version for the 07 MINIs.

I got my badge holder from outmotoring. No drill necessary. I did take the grill off for the easiest install. It's a great addition to the MINI.
