New MINI Owner
Hi everyone,
We just picked up our 07 mini from the dealer yesterday and have been having fun already!
I've enjoyed looking at this site and would like to connect with owners in the DC/Virginia area.
This is "Woody" in his new car

He sure does but it makes our insurance rates higher, ya know....teenage driver......
We dropped by to introduce our MINI to everyone since we named him. His name is "Sly". We also wanted to show off our new signature pic and as you can see we've joined a MINI club already! We're looking forward to our first event and are glad to report that he had his final options installed early this week (checked sunroof graphic, checked rearview/side mirrors, and bumper protector).
We're having fun!

How many miles have you put on Sly thus far?
Ordered a Chili Red, but had to think hard about the white as to the fact that all our other driveway cars are white. No room
for my Mini in the garage
so it will be a driveway car as well.
You're not too far up the road so maybe we will run into each other at an event soon.

Thanks for all the welcome messages to NAM.
We picked up our Mini 2 weeks ago today and it already has 650 MI.
Hope to meet up with some of you soon. In the meantime, we'll be waving at ya on the road
