Greetings all from a kinda new mini owner
Kinda new got it last year as the wife refussed to drive a new 2006 Saturn ION that wondered on the highway all on its own (like being blown around while driving a bus).
So she got her car and me I got a nice handling machine. Its a red 2006 mini (non S) with a black roof and little to no options (I just like em stripped down).
So what have I done to it? Brake pads, 17 inch Slites with sticky tires and Schroth drivers harness.
Where have I raced it? Maxton's Monster Mile, which is a 1 mile WWII runway that is closed down and used like the Salt Flats but scalled down to 1 mile instead of several. It ran a best of 107mph, but at the 3/4 mile mark was pretty much done with 105mph.
