Need assistance on part and Removing Swirl Marks

Need to know if a '07 MINI COOPER hardtop outside windshield post will fit my '02 MINI COOPER S.
Don't want to drive to the other side of the island get there an it does not fit. Thanks for the help.

Finally found one on CL for $15. Has fine scratches so I bought Meguires 'PlastX' which did not work on removing the scratches. Before I go out buying more products can someone recommend me on what product/ home remedy should I use. Thanks.

You will have to use something more aggressive and those fine scratches are hard to get out on the a pilliars once they have them. I used a hand grade rubbing compounds then waxed them afterwards. You will still get very fine scratches on the scratched up used pieces, it not like body paint.
