Cool. But it is not 100% accurate, of course.
The new Convenience Package 2 is not even listed and if you configure around it the total MSRP is not correct. My car is actually $600 less than the configurator is quoting.
Nevertheless, it is TERRIFIC to finally be able to render this car online.

Under info for that package, its explains that a 750 dollar version is available with MINI Connected and to see your dealer for details.Originally Posted by Midnight Blue

Very cool. I think they are still tweaking things on the back end. I created mine and the price came to $39,900. If someone else clicks the link, they see the same thing for $39,400. I'm guessing it's the Mini connected packages thing.
Just looking at it again, and some things like the PDFs and Garage show $39.9, but the detail now show $39.4. Just as long as it's under $40k I'm good. ;-)
Here's the link BTW.

Worked well, the price was a bit lower than what I configured with the dealer, something changed or I missed an option.
No biggie, nice to have a generated pdf saved and on-file.

Note the following two issues with the Online Configurator:
Option 785 White Turn Signal Lights
I noticed on the online configurator that my config was $600 higher than listed on the VIR sent to me by my dealer. $500 of this difference is on account of ZC2 not being available in the online configurator (see below) but that still left a $100 variance.
The online configurator will list Option 785 White Turn Signal Lights $100 even when selected in combination with option 7L7 Adaptive Xenon Headlights. According the Suggested Retail Guide (10/28/10), option 785 is No Charge when ordered in combination with 7L7. So if you confgure 7L7 and 785, the online configurator price is $100 higher than it should be.
Option ZC2 Convenience Package 2
The online configurator currently does not even list this as an option. However, if you read the pop-up description for the Convenience Package, you will see the text "NOTES: $750 version of the Convenience Package is also available in conjunction with MINI Connected & MINI Connected with Nav. See your dealer for details."
If you go ahead and specify the ZC2 options a la carte (319 Universal garage door opener, 322 Comfort Access, 431 Auto-Dimming rearview mirror and 521 Rain Sensor & Auto Headlights) the online configurator price is $500 higher than it should be so long as you specify ZC2 to your dealer when placing your order.
Other issues may exist as well (see this thread).
