Great! I am in the process of basically doing the same thing. How's the engine holding up? I have most of the stuff, and i'm running around 230hp

Also, sounds like you're running an automatic in the video... Is that standing up to the power?

Now this is awesome!

If that's "all" it takes for 300-350whp I'm definitely doing something like that. Now to price everything...

😐😰

Sounds like he has about 10k in parts for the motor, plus labor if you can't do it yourself.

So you got 300 horsepower to all 4 wheels? To get 300awhp you would have to be close to 400hp, because of the auto transmission, and AWD.

$10k seems reasonable, in the sense that it can hold the power reliably.

If he's hitting 300whp, I think autos are something like a 25% loss of power through the driveline, where awd is something like 22% loss on average.

The autos lose more than manuals or DCT and AWD loses more than two wheel drive. The AWD drivetrain is twice rotating parts

That's correct. I came from two STIs, a 95 auto M3, and a 03 SMG M3 (functioned same as manual transmission). Those were about the averages. Where rwd was around an 18% loss through the drivetrain.
