I should have "Dobbelsteened" the Roadster today- it was 49 degrees this afternoon. We had rain on the way, so I didn't bring it out of the garage. I'll wait another week... Spring is only 3 weeks away.
Snow's almost all gone here already. We're seeing a lot more lawn than snow. Way early this year, since snow cover usually lasts until late April or early May. Bad for snow skiing, but great for top down driving opportunities!
Hasn't been too much of that over your way this Winter! Have been watching the Web cameras down in Lenggries, on the Brauneck. The valley from Lenggreis to Bad Tölz has been green most of the Winter. Nice to see snow there now, finally!!
That snow won't last too long, another week of Winter or so for those Alps! They needed it!

OK, I'm just 2+ weeks into owning my new (to me) Roadster, and in reading this thread, I'm still not sure I understand what benefit the windscreen actually provides.
Being in California, I've been spending as much time as possible driving with the top down--and being in California, that's been possible just about every day. Had a bit of rain, and I haven't put the top down after dark or when it gets too chilly. When it's borderline, the top goes down and I just put the windows up.
Tried putting in the windscreen for my commute home last night, and for the two trips so far, I haven't perceived a significant difference.
I love the visibility all-round with the top down. I notice that the windscreen diminishes that just a bit directly backwards--but helps reduce glare from headlights behind after dark. Not really worried about noise. I like hearing the rumble from the tailpipe, and I usually have the (dance) music cranked up anyway.
So should I just put it back in its case and stow it away or leave in installed?

@ writer - At mid to low speed the wind screen doesn't do much, but at highway speed (55-75mph) with the windows up it does make a good difference. It was about 43F the other day when I made a very brief 105mph to catch an exit by going around slow and dense traffic to my right from the far left lane, and I was happy to have the wind screen.
I don't do this everyday (thx goodness )
When driving with the windows down most of the air comes from the sides, so screen or no screen won't help at all.
Spiney is the most courageous with the cold temperature here. Me below 30-35°F I'm a bit less motivated to drive the top down all the time Though on a sunny day, with a good coat, hat, and gloves, there's nothing else like it
