Comfort Access will not release hatch

Push button on door and both doors unlock but hatch still remains locked. Is there a way to program to release all three locks? I don't know why this happened up until now all three locks released for the last 5 years on my 09 justa.

Does the trunk popper work? If it does, the contact in the handle is broken. You have to replace the entire handle. (I went with the JCW carbon one) it was $290 vs $200 for a new painted one.

The hatch will not pop when I push the button on the door handle or manually with my fingers. The only way it will release is pushing the hatch release on the fob.

Yep, the contactor in the handle is broken.. You need a new handle, It's actually a pretty common problem.

Is not necessary to change it. You can open it and just replace the switch inside. It is a normal switch, like the one used in monitors with 4 pins. I had the same problem, trunk was not opening manually. Went to stealership (i like this term) and they quoted me 100 Euro. They say it cannot be opened cause is sealed. But it did opened it my self and just replace the switch. 2 $ fix.

That's cool, if you can get the thing open without breaking all the tabs, (which I couldn't...) I was extremely careful, used a heat gun, was gentle... They all broke. Plus I wanted the carbon one anyway...lol

It is strange that you did use a heat gun, cause when i opened mine, heat gun was not needed and no clips were broken. I will try tomorrow to make some photos when opening the trunk.

If the gasket on the back that goes on the bottom and covers the micro switch is bad, cracked and causing water and salt to get into the switch, it will need replaced as a whole unit. Not a separate gasket. Just wanted to let you guys know.

The only important part is photo 7 in which you have to cut an silicon part. After you have finished changing the switch is good to put again silicon to not let water comes in. I did not used silicon and till now no problem with water coming in. Anyhow is better to do it. If you have questions let me know.
The last step is to clean your dirty hands and be happy.

It can be found on any electronic shop. It is a simple switch with 4 pins. Please look at photos above.

100 pieces for $6.39 shipped.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/100Pcs-Tactile-Push-Button-Switch-Tact-Switch-6X6X7mm-4-pin-Coffee-color-/171576030680?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27f2ba75d8&vxp=mtr
I wonder if this is the right size though. That one is 6mm x 6mm x 7mm.

There's also 10 pieces for $3.79 in the 12mm x 12mm x 7mm size:
