Catback Exhaust Fitment

Been researching the limited choices we have for catback exhaust (Magnaflow, Borla, Milltek). My question has to do with fitment. The specs on the Borla for example indicate will fit 08-11 models. Others specify 08+. Milltek doesn't specify any year model range. Are there differences in engineering in the Clubman S from 08-14 that would result in a fitment issue with any of these systems?

If you're talking about the Clubby S, All of the years have the same fitment.

The Milltek is the same for those years on the S, remember when you install it leave the clamps a little loose, line it up, then tighten everything up.

Here some more info and sound for you.

Thank you both. I hope I can pull the trigger on the Milltek soon.

Whilst I don't have an aftermarket exhaust yet, I have been doing some research.

One word: Remus.

Sounds good at idle, sounds great at WOT and from all accounts that I've read, does not drone at cruise.

It's an axle back kit for less than $1000.

Check it out.

Why do you like this over the cat back systems? Borla cat back is less than $ 800.00. Do you have a sound clip?

I didn't realize the Borlas were that price. Interesting. I just happened to find a Borla kit on sale for $768.

I thought I'd heard issues with droning.

It's personal preference really. I just like the Remus (AC Schnitzer) sound.

The Milltek does not drone and they look very nice, if you run the NON res , it will be a bit louder. And lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Just some other thing to think about.

Good luck on whatever you choose.

Yes the Milltek for sure fits all years.

BUT for fitment I have one on my clubman and have installed several. Be ready as you will spend a good bit of time adjusting it, then you'll drive it and adjust it a couple more times. Even after that I say I'm not 100% happy with the fitment. I'd love to sell you one as we also sell them, but not going to hide the fact about the fitment as you need to be prepared for that.

It does have one big advantage as it is a complete exhaust connecting to the downpipe, not just cutting off the rear mufflers.

In your experience, how does the Magnaflow fit? Does it have the same readjustment issues?
I like the price point, I've used Magnaflow in the past and been happy with it, and I want something that isn't loud but flows very well.
I know you can't have free-flowing and quiet at the same time.

Yes the Magnaflow is easier to fit, but that's mainly cause it's less parts, and only the rear mufflers.
