OBD Port and Cig Lighter dead
Hey guys, just bought an '06 Cooper S the other day and noticed that I had no cig lighter. When a buddy plugged his scanner in to reset the airbag light (looking to see what's going on with the airbag light) we noticed that there's no power at the OBD2 port. Briefly ran through both the under hood fuse box, and the one in the drivers side kick panel and every fuse is good. I noticed that the kick panel retainers are loose as if someone has had the panel off before.
This is my first experience with OBD2 since I've only ever owned Carb'd classics and never had these stupid issues so any help would be great. I'm someone electronics savy, but please pardon the ignorance, there's a lot more wiring in my Mini then in my Datsun. Any suggestions on where to start would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.
