(SOLD) 2007 PW/B MCSa in PA
Wow, seems like a lot of R56s are going up for sale! Well here's mine
To my extreme surprise and excitement I've been accepted into my college's year abroad program (only one "rising senior" is picked each year for this). Also it's about 95% confirmed that I'll be attending university (graduate studies) in Europe, so my MINI must go within the coming months! Title in hand, ready to go!!! It's paid in full so no third party to deal with.
Less than 6 months old (brought it home October 13th from Otto's MINI) and has just under 6,000 miles; hefty remainder of factory warranty transfers over to you. Never been tracked, broken in properly, washed weekly, waxed monthly, only filled up with 91+ gas, never eaten or smoked in, completely clean title. A couple small rock chips on the lower front trim, but other than that it's in perfect condition. No mechanical issues in the past nor present.
2007 - I believe it's a week 36 build: new TPMS system, updated door sills, 'gong' sound, partially open hood scoop, cruise control speed in the tach display, and ability to adjust sensitivity of auto wipers via OBC.
Pepper White body; black mirrors/roof
Options:
6-speed Aisin automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and rev-matched shifts (faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile than manual )
Premium package (dual pane panoramic sunroof, multifunction sport leather steering wheel and automatic air conditioning/heating with active carbon filter)
Audio package (10 speaker HiFi stereo, Sirius satellite radio with lifetime subscription, Hi-Definition radio)
Cold weather package (heated seats/mirrors/windshield washer jets)
Xenon headlights
Automatic lights and rain sensing wipers
Dynamic Stability Control
White turn signals
Rear fog lights
Carbon lounge leather (black with cream piping - exact match to color line)
Cream color line
Interior surface Piano Black
Anthracite headliner
Chrome line interior
Park Distance Control
Black bonnet stripes
Front/rear "Cooper S" rubber floor mats
"Let's Motor" chrome license plate frame
MINI logo valve stem caps
Cargo nets
Aftermarket:
ALTA red cold air intake and boost tubes, cat-back exhaust, 19mm rear sway bar (currently on middle setting) and 4" antenna
Eibach lowering springs
17x7.5" gunmetal Rota RBs and 215/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 all-season tires
Aesthetic Creations pinstriped black boot stripes (exact match to OEM front bonnet stripes)
JCW black grille trim
Euro-plate
MINI grille badge holder (with 7 badges if you want them)
BMW "silver" front turn signal bulbs
Actual Size and ALTA stickers
Rain-X Latitude wipers
Fully open hood scoop grille
All parts were professionally installed by a recommended, licensed installer (well except for the stickers ). Also my MINI has been to the dealer on various occasions and they've given me no warranty problems since all the parts are bolt-ons. I have all of the factory parts other than the exhaust and wheels/tires. I'm willing to install them beforehand or include them with the car upon request. Finally it has a Garmin nuvi 660 on the standard windshield amount which I'd be willing to include upon request as part of the deal. I still have the original box with all accessories. Also a standard audio in cable for it (or just about any other device), an iPod dock to mini jack cable, an iPod car charger and a dual outlet DC cable would be included.
I'm in Lancaster, PA (17603) and am asking for $26,000 OBO. Paid $30,500 before taxes/title/license/fees and put close to $5,000 into it after delivery. Willing to take a significant hit so I can get it sold quickly as I'll be leaving the country in June. Will most likely be posting on Auto Trader, ebay and Craig's List before the end of the month. Willing to deliver it just about anywhere (within reason of course ).
I'll seriously consider all reasonable offers. Thanks for looking
Many more pictures (probably too many ) found here! Just scroll past the first few of me being silly...
Feel free to PM or email me (msteadma@fandm.edu) if anything!

Thanks so much!

You should try Ebay. Most people looking for automatics are not NAM members. Both of the automatic MINIs that we sold were sold for top dollar on Ebay. The 05 tintop went to the Ukrane, for $400 over what I paid for it new.
Nice car, good luck with your sale.

HEY, thank you and thank you!!! Kinda sad to be getting rid of my MINI so soon, but taking it with me would be impossible, especially since I'll be moving around quite a lot. Really excited

Msteadman, I can't believe you have to get rid of your MCS! After all you went through with your 1st MINI and then finding this beauty. I wish you luck with your new adventure.

Yea I know, it's pretty sad, especially given how much I've put into it. At least it's for a really good and exciting reason though! I'd definitely take it with me if I could, but that'd end up being a lot more of a hassle than convenience....
Thanks so much for the kind words

I, too, can't believe you're selling your MCS. Why not just put it into storage until you get back? Of course now you'll have the fun of speccing out a third R56 upon your return. Good luck!

I'll be gone for at least 3 years (last year of undergrad and 2+ years of grad). Also depending on my job options upon graduation, I'm very unsure as to whether I'll even be returning to the US.
