GP 2 Roof Number Pic

Just got this pic of the GP roof number

This is NOT my number just a pic a friend sent me. Sorry but I think this is an epic FAIL. Also this dealer has 8 GP's and only one had the number.

Epic fail or a big "F___ You" to the US for demanding numbers?

I really liked the idea that the US was going to get numbers but seeing that number, I would not want it on my GP.

GP number

So is it actually applied on top of the other black vinyl or is it part of it?

meh, not a fan...Thanks for sharing the sneak peak pic I wish it was a little more subtle. a small dash plaque would be nice or even if it was just the GP decal on the 'secret' compartment that shows 1 of 2000, could have simply read: 076 of 2000

-having that 4th digit is hokey and not needed- if their numbering system will only go up to 500. (again, that was hearsay from an Advisor in FL).

something like this would be real nice:

It kinda reminds me of the OD green US Flag deployed soldiers would don on their uniform. I like it, but not as the decal on the roof of the GP2.

It might just be, I emailed MINI a month ago and said leave my number off.

I agree

I can't tell if it's just part of the vinyl or was put on top of the existing decal.

I think the black part might taper downward. The sticker looks to be straight if you look from the bottom of the black to the bottom of the sticker.

^^Thanks for sharing... looks much cleaner with just the 2 digits.. Only 50 going to Canada, so I get it. But I dont get why USA has 4 digits if they are all numbered 500 and below... we should just have the 3 digits IMO.

This is one of 3 car carriers I saw this morning in Jacksonville and the other 2 on my way back to Palm Coast on I95.
The 4 on the 1st trailer only 2 had numbers on the roof.

If the dealer is doing the install, if I were the owner I would request them be left off.

Jesus - they're awful!! What if one happens to be buying a GP2 but you're not American?? I for example, don't want any part of a US flag on the roof of my car, not because I hate America, just because I'm Irish!!

Nice spy shots Don
-I agree with ya, if I am told that that the decal has not yet been applied, I will certainly tell them to leave it off and I can store it for the next owner. I do like the framed 2006 GP numbered plaques... it would be cool if that was made into an aluminum decal that could be applied on the "secret" compartment fascia... thanks again Braminator for the pix

You blew my cover. It was pretty cool seeing 8 in one day before they have even hit the road. I now hope someone will offer me a ride in one.

I saw you comment on Tom Bush's Facebook page and put two and two together

If you were closer, I'd be happy to let you take it out for a spin...
