Stupid Question: How to remove the Aero Wipers?
Hey gang! How do I remove the aero wipers from the front wiper arms? I know the arms are a hook but how do I get the wiiper blades off the wiper arms?
While I'm at it, how do I remove the rear? The set I got was the Valeo OEM Aerofil wipers from minimania.
Edit: Well, I've tried to match up the rear wiper replacemetn with the old one and it doesn't match. It won't fit the 2004 rear wiper arm. I may have to exchange this set for PIAA sets... :( :(

Give us a call and someone should be able to help you with that over the phone while you do it.

They are held in with a double clip, push both side in with pointer finger and thumb then pull off the end. For the 7/2012+ factory aero wiper fronts

For the rear wiper , i need to know the year and model . Most are like then and clip into that upper bar peg that connects to the arm.

I just replaced the original Aero wipers with PIAA super silicone blades and noticed like the originals the end of the passenger side wiper blade does not make contact with the windshield.
Are all wipers the same on the Mini due to the curves in the windshield? Not being OCD or anything but are there any wipers that do contact all the way?

They all have that issue on the very end on the passenger side. You are RHD , so its on the left, here in the states where LHD so its on the right. Its the extreme curve on the windshield on that end. Just the last inch or half inch or so.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm going through the same exact issue right now. What exactly do you mean by "pull off the end"? Either I'm incredibly weak or am doing it completely wrong. I squeezed the clips and it won't budge. I even tried to use pliers, but ended up breaking off the clips... Do you know if there's any way to remove the wiper from the arm if the clips are broken?

Success! I started on the driver's side, and for some reason it wouldn't budge. However, the passenger side worked and I was able to swap it out after a little bit of wiggling. After I got it off I was able to see how the assembly works. Since I already broke the clips off of the driver's side and I didn't need it anymore, I just took a small hacksaw to it and was careful not to cut the wiper arm. On the PIAA wipers I just installed, the clips seem just as hard to squeeze as the OEM ones. We'll see how it goes when they need to be replaced...

Just saw this, sorry i did not get a notification. Glad you got it off. Those clips can get hard and you can take a little screwdriver to help. Yours must have been on there so tight they could not come off for some reason, without me looking at it i don't know why it was on so tight.
