New to Mini, the wait is killing me...

Hello Everyone, I'm the new guy

For my car history I'm new to Mini's but not imports, as a young buc I had a Civic and Eclipse that I modified for car shows and bracket racing, I even had a S14 Silvia when I was stationed in Japan, after that I moved on to my Lexus IS-F that I keep stock and was my daily driver till I got the bug to buy a boat so I could go fishing anytime I wanted. Well I recently sold my boat and seeing I didn't need my Tundra 4x4 to pull a boat anymore, I decided it was time to have a little sports car again. After testing driving allot of different cars I really loved the way the Mini handled and drove, so my truck has been sold and I'm just driving my beater KIA while I await my new 2016 JWC 2 door hardtop.

On 1 Sept 2015 I ordered my new 2016 JWC, on 7 Sept they gave me my production number and this past week on 23 Sept the dealership told me it was scheduled to be built on 7 Oct 2015 and that after that I should have it in 5 - 6 weeks, looking like some time in Nov. All I know is this wait is killing me...

Below are the specs I chose and yes it's an auto, I drive is some bad traffic going to and from work so...

Model:
Code 16MC John Cooper Works Hardtop

Color:
A62 White Silver metallic

Upholstery:
K9E1 Carbon Black Leatherette

Options:
7L5 Wired Package
609 Navigation system
6NE Enhanced Bluetooth and USB/iPod adapter
1CA CO2 relevant vehicles
223 Dynamic Damper Control
2HY 17" JCW Track Spoke Black Wheels
2TB Sport Automatic Transmission
322 Comfort Access keyless entry
383 Black Roof and Mirror Caps
473 Center armrest
481 Sport seats
493 Storage package
4BD Interior surface Piano Black
5A4 LED Headlights with Cornering Lights
5AA Rear Fog Lights
674 harman/kardon Premium Sound System
6NM MINI Connected
6NT MINI Connected XL
6UH Real Time Traffic Information
8S4 Variable Light Decoding
ZTM Tier 2

Accessories:
Z4L Black line headlight rings
Z56 Black Sport Stripes-body
Z5R Black Line Tail Light Kit

As for once I have it in hand, I know I want to replace the chrome outline on the front grill to a black one, tint the windows and start looking to maybe lower it some and put on 18 inch rims, other then that I'm going to keep it all stock for now.

Nice list and congrats, for lowering springs (NM or H&R ) or wheels looks for NM engineering. NM will be making some wheels soon for the JCW platform for bolt on without the need for wheel spacers.

Welcome to NAM! S14, very nice! I have a friend with an IS-F. It has headers and an exhaust. Driving that thing is such a blast and that cars sound is just music to my ears. Very nice package on the JCW. Be sure to post up pictures once you get your hands on it. Would love to see it.

haha I was just looking at those and pricing out how much it would cost to do both the spings and rims/tires. I really like the black ones

Both those cars were a blast to drive, when I just recently test drove cars it came down to a JWC and the new IS-200t. Since I've already owned a Lexus I wanted something different and I've never even seen a JWC Mini cruising down the street. I'll definitely post pictures when I get it.

I read MINI minds also

Yep, they look pretty nice in the black. By that time you get the MINI they new dirrect fitment JCW wheels might be done. Otherwise you will have to use spacers with the current ones.

If anything I'll wait, not really a big fan of spacers.

Your shops website will be bad for my pocket book when I get the Mini
