Cheers to all. I am new to this forum. I reside in the greater Phoenix area, so we have HOT weather (all the time), not much rain, wide open spaces, mountain roads not far, and 3 nearby race tracks!

I just switched by daily driver / Trackday toy from from a 1996 Trans Am WS6 to a 2012 R58 JCW.

I lost 4.1 liters, ~250Hp to gain handling, braking and fuel efficiency!

Although my TA was a LOUD highly modified Beast, I will be much more careful on moding the JCW. First, I have a warranty that I have to safeguard, second, I want to keep it reliable.

That said...I already replaced the turbo resonator by a WMW resonator delete. That was easy!

Next on my list is the delete of the exhaust resonator....BUT...although I am looking forward to the "better" sound, I want to get some feedback (i.e. does it effect emissions ( codes?), any cons? any Pros?)

Anyway, as I started this intro. Cheers to all.

Magnuson Moss Act
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus...s_Warranty_Act

Protects those who mod their cars under warranty.

I have a 2013 MINI coupe thats putting out 245hp at the wheels and still have my warranty intact.

Welcome to NAM! it's August in AZ so that means 120 degree weather! whoo-hoo! I do not miss that. A lot of people with JCW's cut out the resonator for the sound. Any other mods you plan on doing?
