Fontana is the central hub for everything and the preferred choice to stay by most. If you call and they are full, you can get on their wait list. Topoco Lodge just re-opened this year and is the next closest place to stay. A full Lodging list is HERE on the event website.(Hotels, Vacation Rentals and Campsites) If you can't find a place to stay just left me know.

 

We have a cabin reserved from April 30 - May 6 with two twin beds and a sleeper sofa to be filled. If you're interested in any or all of those dates let me know via PM.

The cabin is in a great location, just above the campfire. The cabin number 1049 if you want to google a map of the property.

 

Just found out all camping spots are taken and reserved. Just left MSSD and was hoping to get my campsite that I have stayed @ the last few Dragon trips.... #17.

Does anyone have room at their campsite for another tent?

I know from experience most campsites are huge.

Please PM me if you have extra room that you wouldn't mind sharing.....OR if you have a campsite you would like to give up.

I posted at that "other site" that I'm looking for a room. Single male non-smoker, I would prefer to be in the thick of the action as this is my first and likely last dragon (Long drive from Vegas and can't guarantee that AMVIV won't interfere like it has before).

We have 2 certificates from Griffin Cabins. Each certificate is for $160 value, totaling $320. We currently have "The Cottage" booked for April 29th through May 6th and the certificates cover the entire cost. I've been told by the owner that all their cabins are available during the dragon so if you need a bigger cabin, you could rent it and apply these certificates toward your total.

and it is located in Robinsville, approx. a 27 min. drive to Fontana.

Just wanted to let you all know that we just released our room at Fontana Lodge. It is a 2 Queen room. Call ASAP for it and ask for Tim, tell him that you Angela Wood's room.

Okay I just found out that I do have a reservation for camp spot 17 @ Fontana Dam. I was on a waiting list from Last October.... And somehow got lucky and now have a camping spot.

If there is anyone interested in sharing this camp spot, please PM me.
As I mentioned I know this spot is large. Unless they changed that I'm unaware of.

I won't be ab;e to make the whole MOTD this year, so I just cancelled my reservation for the lodge at Fontana. Have not been able to talk to a person when calling so I left them a message. Should be available to first caller. Good luck getting through.
