Can OEM MINI 15" Wheels Be Modified (Machined) To Clear The S Calipers?

I have an F56S as well as some 15" wheels from a previous MINI.
Can the wheels be machined to clear the front calipers?
Thanks.

Anything is possible, but I would not want to machine a wheel for brake clearance. You’ll likely weaken the wheel and chance having the wheel loose design integrity. Is clearance worth a potential cracked wheel?

Second… What year is the 15” wheel from? If it’s from a 2nd gen car, those used a different bolt patter, and likely wouldn’t fit anyway….

I found someone selling 16" wheels.
I pick them up next Monday.
I don't know their name.

Would like to hear what you think about driving on them - I want a set of those exact rims but worried they may be too much sidewall and kill the feel of the steering. Definitely post a pic when you get them on the car too :P
