Question Looking for NM Engineering RSe05 17" wheels

Looking for a set of NM Engineering RSe05 17" Wheels, Part #nm.880503G. NM only has 1 in stock. They said most of the places selling them don't stock the wheels, most just drop ship from NM.
If I can't find a set soon, anyone know of any other 17" wheels that will clear the JCW brakes without using spacers or hub rings?

I just checked their website and it let me add 4 wheels to the cart. Didn't mention backorder.

I called them. They had 1 Gun metal and 3 black ones in stock. They weren't sure when they were going to get them back in stock.

I was hoping to get a set in time for MOTD.

Ah, gotcha. I would suggest you talk to Jerry at NM at least once a week. He's always on top of things and should let you know as soon as he gets an update. They should get some in way before the Dragon.

I think it is time to set the new wheel 'fashion' standard with that combo...could be sweet

Anyone with alternative wheels that are lighter than factory that don't need spacers and can clear the JCW brakes?

I just got the only set of Gunmetal 17x7.5 the other day...they are arriving today in Texas.

Just got new Bridgestone RE71R's 225/45/17's mounted on the great looking NM 17x7.5" wheels...mounted them on the Mini with 5 mm spacers all the way around...They Look FANTASTIC

I ended up getting the Black ones since that's what ECS said they can get to me before MOTD. I mounted a set of General G-Max RS on them and they worked great on the Dragon.

Do you have any rubbing issues with the 225s with the 5mm spacers?

Before I added the rear adjustable control arm, I did hit the plastic outer flair just a tad if I hit a serious bump...but since I lowered the Mini and added the Control Arm...no issues even AutoXing. Once I get the Vorshalg Front Camber Plates, I am going to try to fit 245s all the way around...

Are you going to get new wheels? I think Min wheel width (recommendation) is like 8" for a 245 tire. I will be interested to see what is required to get them to fit as you are probably at a significant tire disadvantage in STU running 225s.

I've been looking at the NM Eng. RSe05 or NM Eng. RSe52, which it looks like you may be running. Right now, I'm still looking. I've only had the car for a couple of weeks. I need to figure tire size and weight tradeoff.

I'll keep the stock wheels for winters, and I'll run a narrow HAKKAPELIITTA. Either a 205 or a 195, if I can find the right ratio.
