FEELER: black S-lites
FEELER: black S-lites
curious if there is any interest in black powder coated s-lites. i had my s-lites powder coated gloss black for use as autocross wheels. no curb rash (don't hit many of those in autocrossing).
i'm getting rid of them because they don't really work with my color scheme and as heavy as they are they don't really work well as an autocross setup. if i had a black roof i think they'd be sexy as hell. being gloss black they do like to see lots of tire shine on the accompanying wheels.
here is a picture on my car in the rain:

here is a pic i pulled of the web of an all black mini with gloss black s-lites (hot!):

i'm hoping for $600 plus shipping for wheels only (willing to discuss leaving the rubber on) or i'm willing to arrange delivery/pickup. the rubber isnt anything fancy (far from it) but they've been autocrossed (still have tons of tread) so i figure most people wouldnt want them.

I have often wondered what black S-lites would look like. I've considered painting or powdercoating mine black too, but like you, I've decided to just get rid of them. They're just too heavy for my liking.
If only they were truly light, as their name suggests!
Instead, I'm going to go aftermarket, and purchase some black wheels (still deciding on which ones).
Good luck.
