don't know where exactly this thread should go...just looking for help
i am trying to open up my air filter box to clean my jcw airfilter (aftermarket k&N), and i need a special tool to open up the housing (air filter BOX)


...could anyone please tell me what that tool is called that i need to open up the housing and where i can buy one ?

It's a Torx bit. You can get a Torx set at Home Depot or Lowe's for $10.

 

the two front screws are just torx head bolts. you should be able to find a cheap set of torx wrenches at almost any home supply store or hardware store. (I just picked up a 5 piece set from Home Depot for about $10) There is another, smaller torx bolt holding the filter in place inside.
