Clearing for everyone:

I'm living in Saudi and our cars follow the Euro standard not the US ones and that makes them really different than what you have. Here's a clearance below:
Originally, I was able to close the driver's side completely with on click. Passenger's I have to keep clicking.
Now, the driver's side is still same as stock, but the passenger's closes after a double click.

Marwan's installation is working correctly. The only reason his driver's window closes with a single click instead of a double-click is that Marwan has a Euro-spec MINI. (as a result, he had single-click auto-close on the driver's side even before installing Ian's circuit.)

Marwan, do you have a dealer near you? I would think you could go to the dealer, have them de-activate the auto-up option and then both would work off the Ian circuit with a double tap? At least then they would be the same.

I know this thread is kinda old and all, but does anyone know if there is anywhere I can buy this hard to find aftermarket upgrade from? I would love to have auto up on my new (used) MINI. Thanks for any information.

Check in the marketplace. There's someone who's offering this for sale. Also, I think Ian might be having few parts remaining. Email Ian for confirmation.

There will be a NAM VENDOR announcement when I get more stock - end of April. I'm also maintaining another email contact list.

got mine installed yesterday with ease
I tried to use the AFF on my rear fog light, and now the fronts don't seem to turn on. What's the easiest way to reset everything? (I tried holding the lock toggle up and then flipping the rear fog off, but in a cabrio if you hold unlock down it starts opening the roof )
Also I noticed that my factory iPod controller no longer plays in random mode. If i let it just play in order its fine, but random never seems to find songs. As stated below this was TOTAL unconnected to the autoUp Circuit. Was user error.

The window up and auto-DSC off are working perfectly, so I know its installed properly. I'm driving a 2005 MCSc for what its worth.

Thanks for a great product!

AFF is Auto Front Fogs - no effect on rears.
Ignore the roof / windows moving when you hold the lock / unlock toggle.
Of course, there's no link between the circuit and the iPod ...

The iPod was my bad
for the record, the circuit DID auto turn on the rear fogs. It just didn't do both front and rear at the same time.

Yay, just placed an order for the auto up circuit. Thanks for making another batch, Ian.

One question though - how is it that Euro market MINIs have the auto-up from the factory? Do they come with sensors that our US models don't?

No sensors - it's just that Europe is less litigious!

The '08s in USA now have driver side auto-up - not sure if there's any new sensor.
