Its been a few months since we installed our monkeyBAR in our R56 and we are loving it! There's something about being strapped into a sporty car that inspires confidence. Our R56 harness bar solution helps us focus on enjoying the MINI and not trying to stay in the seat!


We recently installed the final production black powder coated monkeyBAR in a costumer's R56. It looks great with the blue Schroth PROFI II harness and blue leather inserts on the seats (harnesses available in different colors also!).

This weekend, Abel joined the West Coast MINI Club of Southern California on our first MINI run. The run was through some mountain twisties here in Southern Cal.

Abel broke the run into two different parts. The first part he drove with the stock belt and the second part he strapped into the 4-point Schroth harness connected to our monkeyBAR.

He said the difference was night and day. He spent the first part of the run trying to hold himself in the seat. Strapping in with the harness helped him focus more driving and having fun! He really didnt stop raving about it.
