Note: When choosing a pad, pay attention to the temperatures each pad operates best in. Choosing a pad with a very high temperature range will have great a friction coefficient when used during a road race, but will not provide an acceptable friction coefficient for normal street driving as brake temperatures do not get nearly as high. Additionally a pad designed for the street and a lower temperature range will give you much better braking power in normal everyday driving, but will quickly fad if used during track events.

Mintex Redbox Street Pads
The Mintex Street Pads are the perfect OE replacement pad. These pads require less bedding distance, reduced noise, reduced dust, and leave little to no evidence of material deposits on rotors. These are a street designed pad and are not recommended for track or autocross use.

Mintex M1144 Street Performance Pads
The M1144 compound is a great choice for Fast Road and Light circuit use and gives the driver a confident and stable brake feel at high speeds, stop after stop. A perfect choice for the daily driver that also autocrosses or runs an occasional track day. M1144 performs best between 200 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mintex M1155 Race Pads
The M1155 compound is perfect for the serious autocross or club-racing MINI that is looking for that extra edge. M1155 performs best between 550 and 1100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mintex M1166 Race Pads
The M1166 compound is recommended for track use only and should not be used on public highways. M1166 gives the race driver a controlled and stable brake at very high temperatures. M1166 performs best between 950 and1500 degrees Fahrenheit.
