Just saw the rebroadcast.

It was sweet to see the MINI spanking the red Camaro. I wasn't by much, but then it doesn't have to be!

BOTI Fontana

Hubie qualified 3rd quickest 10.618, 137.06.

He won in the first and second rounds. Curious thing about the second round was that his ET was slower than his rival. In another 2nd round race, one car broke and the other competitor jumped the light. Is that how Hubie got in?

Then in the third round his ET was faster than his competitor but he did not advance.

Congrats to Hubie and ABF for a fine showing. Hubies Q speed was the fastest for any Quick 16 run.

I don't know all the nitty griddy details on the bracket-racing, but it has something to do with your "dial-in" time and compared that to your actual run, and the time differential between the two is what counts. In a weird sort of way, i guess you're racing against yourself but next to another car That would be my best educated guest...

to Hubie at ABF for the fine showing go MINI go...
