Fathers Day - Peak to Peak short route
I had Fathers Day to myself since my wife and daughter were stuck in the airport in Omaha and my son was working. What a reason to take a little road trip with scooter.
This trip was a short drive over to Hwy 128, Hwy 93 to Hwy 72 then up the twisties to Wondervue, then down Hwy 72 to Nederland (NED), then the short loop back via Hwy 119 to Boulder, Colorado.
I saw a nice CR/B MCS in Louisville, (Dad and young son) I honked, a sharp LY/W MC as I entered PineCliffe (I think) with an enthusiastic wave from both of us and a light flash, not sure what the sightseers thought.
Coming down 119, a nice RG/B or DS/B MCS was parked on the left side of the Hwy, I suspect the owner was rock climbing over the Creek which is a big thing in Boulder. Later in the afternoon about dinner time I saw a PW MC or MCS sitting at the new Asian Fusion in Lousiville. I will have to try that place sometime.
Any of you folks on NAM?
This is the overlook on Hwy 128 where they do a lot of sail planes. It was calm with light gusts as we stopped for pictures and to think about which way I was going to drive today.
This album contains my FD travel pictures.

Why miss it
Gotta go clean scooter's windshield, since we took a little drive after dinner. We just wanted to get the miles up over 300. Now we have 309 total.
Planning our next trip, possibly a run up to Central City via 119. Hummmm.

Congrats Don!
On your recent delivery, as shown on the nice Hwy 128 photo. Any sailplanes in the area would have spotted your brand new terraplane! Sounds like the first several hundred miles were good ones. May you have many more! Looking at your photo albums -- we met at the Greeley Grand Prix. Keep up the good posting, motoring, photography, and ...!

We did after 12
This is a picture my wife took of our niece who tagged along to the MINI store. The niece really liked the peddlecar. My wife did say the MINI of Omaha has a very nice showroom.
