Any indication on country of origin?

 

I believe no, but I'll check again. I'm putting them on tomorrow.

 

So I got my SportMax rims installed and I am very happy with them. I would have loved to go 18", but didn't want to bend rims or buy all new tires. I probably have another 20K or so on these tires before I ditch the run flats for something else.

I expected the color to be a bit more black, but this is fine with me. I actually prefer it being closer to the dark silver than black as my roof is white. I wanted matching lug nuts but something got messed up with my order and I got chrome. I may change out at some point, but they aren't bothering me today. Next decision is whether or not to drop the car a bit and remove some wheel gap which is now more pronounced due to the thin spokes as compared to the stock s-lites.


I have a 5th rim coming on Monday and will post pics of any stamping on it for those who want to compare to Palo Uber.

The only thing I did not like about these rims was the SportMax logo on the center cap, so I got some Jasco and removed it. You can still see the logo, but now its not painted. Much better for me.
